Structured Cabling Solutions
Cat 5e to Cat 7A copper architectures — with Category 6A built to resist crosstalk at enterprise speeds.
Structured cabling is the physical foundation of every reliable network, and it is where our craftsmanship shows most. We design and deploy copper data cabling architectures from Cat 5e to Cat 7A — including Category 6A installations built to withstand crosstalk in high-speed enterprise settings. Every run is pulled under controlled tension, dressed with hook-and-loop fasteners and punched down precisely on the patch panel.
What we deliver
- Cat 5e, 6, 6A, 7 and 7A copper systems
- Category 6A built to resist alien crosstalk
- Technical site survey and CAD layout design
- Segregated containment: ladders, trunking and conduits
- Tension-controlled pulls and Velcro dressing — no zip-ties
- Precise IDC punch-downs on patch panels
A good fit for
New offices and fit-outs, high-speed enterprise floors, floor expansions, relocations and sites replacing ageing or unlabelled cabling.
How we approach the work
Every project starts with a technical site survey — laser distance metering, EMI scans and conduit pathway mapping — followed by CAD blueprints, rack elevations and a full bill of materials. We then install segregated containment, pull cable under controlled tension, keep the bend radius above four times the cable diameter and conductor untwist under 13 mm at every termination, and certify each link before handover.
Planning guide
Structured copper cabling design and deployment
Copper cabling serves the outlets your people and devices plug into. The right category depends on the speeds you need now and later — Category 6A is the choice for high-speed enterprise floors because it is built to resist crosstalk, including alien crosstalk between neighbouring cables.
When this service helps
Plan structured cabling before an office fit-out, relocation, floor expansion or rack upgrade. Repeated link faults and unlabelled outlets are also reasons to review an existing installation.
What to include in the scope
- Run a technical site survey: laser distance metering, EMI scans and conduit pathway mapping.
- Produce CAD blueprints, path diagrams, rack elevations and a complete bill of materials.
- Install containment, then pull, dress and terminate every run, certify each link and hand over the records.
- What to prepare
- Provide floor plans, outlet counts, rack locations and available access windows. Confirm building permissions and whether existing containment or cabling must be reused.
- What you receive at handover
- As-built CAD floorplans, patch matrices, labelled outlets and panels, and the original Fluke .FLW test file for every link.
- What affects the quote
- Cable category, route length, containment, access difficulty, termination count and test requirements shape the quote.
Every project proposal confirms the deliverables, bill of materials, acceptance tests and support commitments in writing.
